BREAKING, March 21st, 2025: Governor Rhoden has officially signed HB1259 into law. We are incredibly heartbroken to learn that Gov. Rhoden signed HB 1259 into law yesterday, behind closed doors. The "Bathroom Ban" will go into effect on July 1, 2025.

This bill is yet another attack on our transgender, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse community in South Dakota. We are deeply disappointed—but we are not backing down. Please still join us this weekend for a rally centered around community support, and to show our representatives that we oppose their harmful legislation.

• To our trans youth and families: We see you. We love you. We are with you.

• To lawmakers targeting our existence: We will not be erased. Join us. Speak out. Organize. This is not the end—this is a call to action.

Transgender Day of Remembrance - Online, Statewide Service

Every year on November 20th, we honor and remember the transgender, gender-nonconforming, and two-spirit individuals whose lives were taken due to anti-trans violence with Transgender Day of Remembrance. This day is a solemn reminder of the ongoing struggles our community faces and the urgent need for change.

Let’s come together in solidarity, paying tribute to those we've lost and reaffirming our commitment to fight for a world where everyone can live their truth without fear. We remember, we mourn, and we vow to continue our advocacy for justice, equality, and safety for all transgender people.

Hosted by Transformation Project, Transformation Project Advocacy Network, Transcendence, Uniting Resilience, Equality South Dakota, Black Hills Center for Equality, Shepherd's Table, The Episcopal Diocese of South Dakota, and Augustana University Faith & Spiritual Life.

Flash Tattoo Fundraiser with Vishnu Bunny

Our friends at Vishnu Bunny are hosting a flash tattoo fundraiser, at their new downtown location, to raise funds for Transformation Project Advocacy Network!

There will be three artists available this day with their own flash sheets. Some of the designs include themes of change, trans symbolism, and ones that mean nothing! So don’t feel intimidated if you like something but are not apart of the community because they have tattoos for everyone!

Prism Center Rainbow Run Sioux Falls 5K

Lace up those running shoes and get ready to paint the town in every color of the rainbow! Join us on June 1st for the Rainbow Run 5k Fun Run, kicking off Pride Month with a burst of energy and inclusivity! This event isn’t just for runners, it’s for ALLIES LIKE YOU!

This event benefits the Prism Center - Supporting 2SPLGBTQ+ community empowerment. Ticket sales and sponsorships help us pay for essential programming, community events, building costs, and services to help our Prism Center run smoothly. You can also show your support by signing up to volunteer here!
