Equality, Visibility & Advocacy Day Hosted by Equality South DAKOTA

Equality South Dakota is hosting Equality, Visibility & Advocacy Day in the State Capitol Rotunda on during the first week of the legislative session.

This is your opportunity to connect with your legislators to discuss bills that effect the 2SLGBTQ+ community and also to meet with fellow South Dakotans advocating for the well-being of 2SLGBTQ+ people.

Date: January 12th, 2024

Time: 10 am - 2 pm

Equality South Dakota and advocacy groups from around the state will be present to connect you to community, offer a listening ear, and cheer you as you walk up the steps to your legislator's office!!

The important thing to keep in mind is that this day is for raising awareness of how 2SLGBTQ+ folx and their allies are keyed into the legislative process, and we're paying attention.
