The Sioux Falls Pride Parade and Festival had a record turnout with roughly 15,000 people in attendance.

Juneteenth celebrations in South Dakota are also highlighted, including an incident in Sioux Falls that organizers and festival-goers were not going to let dampen their day of celebrating freedom.
